Welcome to this world!

A Little Early But Doing Great!
We are incredibly happy to announce the arrival of our girls, Audrey Logan Locati and Sofia Marie Locati!  Mom and babies are doing fine, though they will all be at the hospital a few days.  The girls are doing great, but because they were born at 34 weeks and 5 days, they need a few more days to mature before going home.  Jennie will also need a couple of days to recover from the c-section but should be out of the hospital in 72 hours.

Jennie was admitted to the hospital September 18th and was prepped for a c-section because both babies were in a breech position which is too risky for a vaginal delivery.  Audrey arrived at 4:26 pm and Sofia 2 minutes later!

Audrey Logan:
Weight: 5lbs 15oz
Length: 16 3/4 inches
About Audrey: She’s got the cutest little mouth and a little bit of hair on her head.  Her middle name is Jennie’s maiden name.  With all these girls, we’ve got to keep the Logan going!

Sofia Marie:
Weight: 4lbs 11oz
Length: 17 1/4 inches
About Sofia:  She’s got the sweetest button nose and has a lot more hair than Audrey!  Her middle name is in honor of her paternal great-grandmothers, both of whom were named Mary.

The girls also share the same birthdate as Jennie’s great grandfather. 🙂

We are so thrilled after such a long journey to have the girls safely with us on the outside!  We can’t wait to get to know them and for them to get to know all of you!  We’d also like to say thank you to everyone who helped us out so generously during Jennie’s long bedrest- both at home and in the hospital.  If it hadn’t been for the visits, the books, the dog walks, the meals, and more, we wouldn’t have made it!
