Drum Roll Please!!!

Taaaa Da!  Watch Closely or You’ll Miss It.
Yesterday, I was minding my own business, playing with the girls in their room.  We were going through the usual paces- tummy time, watch the rattle, and the girls’ favorite- spit-up contest, when the amazing happened.  I turned away for a minute to adjust something on their crib and when I turned back it was like one of those "What’s different in this picture?" games.  Sofia and Audrey where still there, but something was different and then it struck me- Sofia had rolled over!  She had flipped from her tummy to her back!  And I knew I wasn’t imagining things because she was laying half off the blanket.  Sofia laid there, wriggling on her back with a very content smile while I shouted from the top of the stairs for Tony to come up and check out his amazing daughter.  We spent the next 20 minutes trying to get her to repeat this feat of infant agility.  She got close several more times but clearly wasn’t about to perform this magic on demand.  Audrey was also inspired and although she didn’t flip, she was doing some seriously good tummy time- holding her head up like a little champ.

Today, I am going to have the video camera rolling and will try to catch it on film.  Sort of like filming for Sasquatch (and I"m not talking about the Sonics Mascot).
